APSC Recruitment 2017 – Combined Competitive Exam: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 205 Assam Civil Service, Assam Land and Revenue Service & Other vacancies for Combined Competitive Examination. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed application format from 09-01-2017 to 09-02-2017. 5. Superintendent of Taxes: 02 Posts
6. Asstt. Registrar of Cooperative Societies: 05 Posts
7. Inspector of Labour: 07 Posts
8. Inspector of Taxes: 08 Posts
9. Inspector of Excise: 12 Posts
10. Asstt. Employment Officer: 10 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 21- 43 years as on 01-01-2016. Age relaxation 5 years is applicable to SC/ ST candidates & for other relaxation details refer the notification.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination (written & interview).

Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST candidates) (non refundable) through Treasury challan under the Head of Account viz., ‘Non Tax Revenue Other Non Tax Revenue, 0051 Public Service Commission, 102 State Public Service Commission, Application/ Examination Fee Receipt Of Assam Public Service Commission’.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates send their application in the prescribed format by affixing One copy of recent passport size photograph along with attested copies of all relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification & envelope should be superscribed with “Combined Competitive (Prel.) Examination, 2016″ to Assam Public Service Commission from 09-01-2017 to 09-02-2017.

Last Date for Submission of Application: From 09-01-2017 to 09-02-2017.
